Boring Cardio Workout

When we think of workouts that help with weight loss, there are 2 paths that are talked about.

  1. Long Distance Cardio
  2. CrossFit/Bootcamp style workouts

And if we are talking over all calorie burn, that can be true.

But the reality is…. 10 years from now, will you continue to want to spend that much time doing exercise?

If that answer is yes, Great!

My program isn’t for you

If that answer is no, Great!

Because with the tools I teach in our Nutrition Game Plan, plus the simple mindet shifts below will get you the weight loss you want, Minus the boring cardio workouts, and joint disfunction that the other people doing those are bound to experience trying to lose weight with their method

Fitness is NOT for Weight Loss

Let’s take cardio as an example.

An hour long cardio session burns between 150-300 calories

But, for sake of argument let’s take the 300 calories and use that

That hour of time used to burn 300 calories will be completely erased by 1 candy bar, 1 beer, or a slice of pizza.

For AN HOUR of time. When you Learn the GAME of Nutrition, you won’t be required to spend that amount of time daily to have the things you enjoy.

Because if you do do that… you are falling into the next mindset issue…

Fitness is NOT for Punishment

Doing an extra workout, or going an extra day for a “bad day” of eating makes fitess the solution to your bad habits.

And although that might work, it still isn’t changing the fact that you are punishing yourself for your actions twice, instead of learning from them once.

This sort of negative, punishment, “bad boy/girl” behavior leaks into other areas of life, and I promise you, as a former big guy, you will not win that battle long term.

You cannot out train a crapy diet

Fitness IS for FUN!!!!!!!!

At the end of the day, your flavor of fitness is the one you enjoy the most.

Maybe your favorite flavor is running, and that’s great! Maybe it’s kickboxing. Maybe it’s strength training, 

HELL! It might even be LONG Distance cardio or Crossfit! Either way, whatever you are doing, you should find some sort of enjoyment from it

Maybe not in the beginning, when the soreness is real, and the motivation is starting to wither away, but as you continue to progress and move forward in it, you should enjot it.

It should not be a chore to make it happen, although it NEEDS to be done.

So you either LOVE to LOVE it, Or Love the Results You get from it. Either way, you gotta do it

What makes H.E.A.R.T. Style Exerise Different?

High Energy, Active Recovery Training or H.E.A.R.T is my Flavor of Fitness.

It includes Strength Training, Cardio, High Intensity Tarining, Conditioning, with my spin on each.

Each workout has a Specific Purpose, NOT workout just to sweat.

  • The H.E.A.R.T. is to burn as many calories as possible (if you just want to sweat go in to a sauna)
  • WILL is our conditioning workouts that burn 2X the calories as cardio, for 10X longer, in 20-30 minute workout sessions
  • Tone is our basic strength training protocol that builds nice lean muscle
  • Build is the Advanced Strength Training Protocol that promotes strength gains, and building bigger muscle
  • Blaze is our fun workouts. A break up of the same ole same ole and gives you a bit of a challenge at the end of the week
